John E. Munter, President
A native of Middle Grove, NY John grew up in the construction business when his father who founded Munter Enterprises in 1972. Prior to joining Munter Enterprises, John worked for a local residential/commercial construction company, where he was responsible for estimating and project management of all commercial projects. John graduated from Manhattan College with a bachelor of science in civil engineering. A supporter of the business community, John represents the company as a member of the the Saratoga Economic Development Corporation, the Saratoga Builders Association and the Saratoga Springs Chamber of Commerce. John and his wife Cindy have two children Gabriel and Anneliese who delight in the outdoor activities made possible by growing up in a rural area within a short distance from historic Saratoga Springs, NY.
Michael Munter, Vice President
Before working at Munter Enterprises, Michael was a construction engineer and on site construction manager for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. He worked on air separation facilities throughout the Gulf Coast of the United States and in Asia. Michael graduated from Clarkson University with a bachelor of science in civil and environmental engineering. Mike was selected from among 1500 builders in the country for the President's Advisory Council for American Buildings Company to represent the customer's point of view. A resident of Middle Grove, NY, Mike and his wife Lisa have two sons, Tyler and Jacob. Mike is an active community volunteer and is Vice President of the Board of the Brookside Musuem, the historical society for Saratoga County.
John Munter, Founder and Head of Business Development
John founded Munter Enterprises in 1972. Prior to that, he held positions as QC Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer during a ten year career with General Electric. John graduated from Clarkson University with a bachelor of science in physics. He also earned a master of science in management engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. John and his wife Rosemary raised their two sons in a historic farmhouse in Middle Grove,NY. Both are active in community organizations that are essential to keeping Saratoga Springs the fastest growing city in upstate New York by preserving its rural roots and its commitment to strong community spirit.
